A lovely manicure always adds a little something, but what’s more important is making sure you have a healthy set of talons to begin with. Whether you like to go sparkly, or wear a casual polish – here are some helpful finger tips!
Moisturise your hands.
Especially if your hands have been in water for a prolonged time. To avoid this, you way want to wear gloves where possible. Your hands are exposed to different elements each day. For some TLC, keep your cuticles hydrated and healthy by gently massaging cuticle oil. If your nails are damaged, you can do this several times a week.
Add some polish-free natural shine to your nails by buffing. The trick is to keep it gentle – too much abrasiveness will counteract any benefits.

Filing your nails back and forth, is a quick path to damaged nails. File in one direction to get your nails in shape, the healthy way.
Switch up your diet
If you aren’t already, include foods that are rich in vitamins B, C, and D to your diet, as these will help encourage nail growth.
